Advanced Lessons, Downwinders & Clinics:
For our advanced students we offer lessons "a la carte". You tells us what you want to learn and we'll show you what it takes. We can even show you tricks that you might not even know the name! With our boat support, our instructor can give you instruction, no matter how far you are from the shore.
Among some of the advanced techniques you can learn with us we have:
- Jumping higher and landing softer.
- Rotations: backloops, frontloops
- Raileys, board-offs, kite loops and/or handle passes
If you want to get into wave riding, we can help you with that too. We have incredible wave spots in the outer reef, just a little further out from where we do our regular lessons. So in one day, you can get the best of both worlds!
Our private multi-day clinics:
Our clinics are for the intermediate-advanced rider, that
seeks guidance and inspiration to take his/her riding skills to the next
level. Our clinics are customized depending on the student's needs, and
can cover basics like improving stance to doing handle passes. The
kitesurfing Clinics are run all year round, so we schedule the clinics
around your availability and our previous arrangements. We can arrange an instructor to dedicate his day, full time to your needs. Also we have experience working along some of the Hotels in the island to be able to work from their premises. So, if you would like your lessons to be taught in Rio Mar Beach Resort, The Ritz Carlton or El Conquistador (plus others!), we can help you with arranging that.
The best months for kiteboarders wanting to learn intermediate techniques in flat water are June to August. But, waveriders might prefer the winter months from November to February. A minimum booking of three days with four hours of lessons per day is required; and also students should be able to stay upwind.
